About the role
The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient’s experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient-focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.
Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations which facilitate patient care
- Teaching patients and significant others information concerning health care needs
- Working as a member of the multidisciplinary team to promote high quality, cost-efficient health care
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure. Preferred: BSN
- Experience: None
