About the role
The RN Telemetry provides direct patient care, assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions for assigned patients on a shift basis. They supervise staff, support clinical quality, safety, and resource management, and ensure high standards of nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, cost-effective nursing care
- Coordinate patient care within medical protocols
- Adhere to safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement
- Perform emergency responsibilities per hospital policies
- Ensure patient discharge at optimal care levels
- Fulfill hospital incident command roles during emergencies
- Support overall unit operations
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Licensed or registered to practice nursing
- CPR certification
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred

- Strong clinical judgment

- Knowledge of emergency protocols and hospital systems
