Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg - CDU (Full-Time Days)

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical-Surgical-Cardiac Care Unit (CDU) with responsibilities for providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities: Performs the nursing process through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Delivers relationship-based care tailored to diverse populations, collaborates effectively with team members, and supports performance improvement initiatives. Serves as a preceptor or mentor, promotes research and evidence-based practices, and ensures compliance with organizational policies, legal, and regulatory standards. Contributes to protocol development, resource management, and patient care across the continuum. Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Nursing degree, active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact), and BLS certification. A minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience is necessary. Candidates must have strong communication, teamwork, time management, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to operate in fast-paced environments and respond decisively to emergencies. Basic computer proficiency and a commitment to professional development are essential.
