Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - Per Hour

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg, responsible for coordinating Transfer Center operations. Key Responsibilities Manage patient transfers from initial contact through discharge and follow-up, ensuring high-quality service to healthcare professionals, patients, and families.Respond promptly to all transfer referrals, communicate patient details and treatment plans with receiving nurses, and facilitate physician-to-physician communication.Assist with educational programs for nursing staff and support transport logistics for patients.Coordinate with sending and receiving facilities to ensure smooth admissions. Qualifications & Skills Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited program.Minimum of 4 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.Current RN license in Arizona or a compact state, with BLS certification.Preferred: Bachelor's in Nursing, experience in ER/Trauma, Neurosciences, or Cardiovascular units, and certifications such as ACLS, CCRN, CEN, or CNRN.Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to interact effectively with diverse staff, patients, and families.
