Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Current Tennessee or compact state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 7 days of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- One-year previous experience preferred.
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with the proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.

STRHS-Lawrenceburg, formerly Crockett Hospital, is a 99-bed, acute care facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, 85 miles south of Nashville. We have been providing the best healthcare in Lawrence County and surrounding counties in Southern Middle Tennessee since 1974.

- Outpatient Surgery Unit (1991)
- State-of-the-art 24-hour physician-staffed Emergency Department (1991)
- Intensive Care Unit (1991)
- 10-bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit (1997)
