Registered Nurse (RN): Med-Surgical / ER

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Med-Surg and ER
• Administer meds/treatments, follow physician orders, and document in the EHR
• Monitor patient status changes and respond to emergencies
• Support admissions/discharges/transfers and update care plans
• Supervise CNAs/NAs/LPNs on shift and assist with new-hire orientation
• Cross-train and float between ER and Med-Surg as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (ND or compact)
• ADN or graduate of an approved RN program
• BLS required (or obtain within 3 months)
• ACLS/PALS/NIHSS required (TNCC preferred; can obtain after hire)
• Med-Surg and/or ER experience preferred, not required

Qualifications

• Experience with Med-Surg and/or ER preferred, but not required
