Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg Residency Program Full Time Night
Job Overview
The Trinitas Medical Surgical Unit, 6 South, provides care to postoperative patients as well as stabilized ventilator dependent patients. The unit offers 22 rooms, 6 of which are single bedded, and can accommodate up to 38 patients, depending on the number of stabilized ventilator dependent patients occupying specific rooms. The RWJBarnabas Health New Graduate RN Residency Program is a one-year program that provides new graduate RN's with a safe, caring, supportive and robust learning environment. Our goal is to allow new graduate nurses the opportunity to gain additional clinical competencies to achieve a stress-free transition from student to professional practice.

Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN License or pending RN license (with completed NCLEX exam) required
- New Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with less than 6 months of RN experience is required
- ASN or BSN required
- AHA BLS prior to start date required
- Career interest in Cardiac Care and/or Telemetry specialties is highly preferred
