About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical care, primarily on a 36-bed unit with a focus on Oncology patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans based on assessments.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Educate patients and families tailored to their needs.
- Delegate tasks to ancillary staff.
- May precept students or new hires.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain it promptly.
- Preferably at least 1 year of RN experience; new graduates are welcome.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills are essential.
Schedule
Work two 12-hour night shifts weekly, including weekends and holidays.
