Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

External hires with two years of RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

About the role

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in delivering nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing patient care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided.

Requirements

• Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (CPR)
• Qualifications as designated in the Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy

Additional Certifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire for ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU (if taking GI call), or Cath Lab
• NRP within 6 months of hire for Nursery and L&D
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• BLS required within 30 days of hire if not already certified
