Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Nights)

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process, evaluating care effectiveness, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. They uphold patient rights, maintain confidentiality, and act in alignment with organizational mission and standards. Qualifications: Graduation from a nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN), current RN license in the relevant state, and Basic Life Support certification (or completion within 30 days). Additional unit-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or others may be required.Key Responsibilities: Assess patient needs, coordinate and evaluate care, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The RN may supervise and evaluate other caregivers’ work, ensuring effective teamwork.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
