Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg/Neuro (5RS) Full Time Days

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in Med Surg/Neuro at Manatee Memorial Hospital is a full-time day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN license in Florida
• One year of acute care nursing experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in electronic health record systems
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Experience with critical care settings
