Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg - Causal

Responsibilities
- Organize and provide nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.
- Contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meet the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
- Respond to emergency calls, assist ambulance team in performance of medical services and safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.
Education Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications
- Certification/Licensure Requirements: Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire
- Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) certification or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) OR MN State Trauma Modules within 1 year from the date of hire. (excluding Superior, Moose Lake, Ada and Sandstone locations)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire.

Compensation Range
$42.55 - $62.85
