More About Our Team: Our acute care medical-surgical unit is a 24-bed unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and a 1:10 CA-to-nurse ratio. We have a diverse patient population including medical, surgical, testing, and observation patients with common comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, stroke, renal, and psychiatric conditions. Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Requirements
- Current VA or compact state license.
- Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
- Experience in clinical area preferred.

Pay
Hourly range - $33.31 -$44.97, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus eligibility.
Schedule: 3 -12-hour shifts 7P-7A.
