Registered Nurse (RN)-Med/Surg 7C
About the role
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Med/Surg 7C unit at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank in Minneapolis, MN. The schedule is 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks), with a 12-hour night shift and every third weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
- Adaptability, willingness to learn, and critical thinking skills are important.
- Problem solving, flexibility, and collaboration are key.
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions.
- Manage complex medication and infusion therapies.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications
- MN RN License.
- BLS required.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- BSN or higher preferred.
- One year of current medical/surgical RN experience in a hospital setting is desired.

Pay
Compensation within the posted range may vary based on various factors including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. A sign-on bonus may also be offered if applicable.
