About the role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, including patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.

Responsibilities

• Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Monitor patients with advanced technology such as telemetry, rescue Bi-Pap, high-flow oxygen, trachs, and vents.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Interns, Providers, PT, and OT.
• Apply critical thinking, delegate tasks, and manage time efficiently.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification within six months.
• Minimum of one year of relevant RN experience for PRN role.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree.
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
