Registered Nurse (RN) Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview: This position involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with policies and standards. The role includes assigning duties, supporting teamwork, and fostering accountability among staff members. Key Responsibilities Assign staff duties according to policies and promote equal workload distribution.Support and encourage staff to deliver timely and proper resident care.Conduct resident rounds, assess needs, and communicate concerns promptly.Report to the Director of Nursing and complete shift reports.Manage staff performance, discipline, and promote professionalism.Develop staff goals, serve as a resource for nursing personnel, and seek guidance when needed.Direct patient care using sound nursing judgment, review and revise care plans, and ensure appropriate interventions.Provide resident/family education, assess holistic needs, and coordinate with physicians and departments.Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols.Complete quality assurance activities, monitor pharmacy recommendations, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the relevant state.Preferred: Two years of supervisory experience in long-term care.Three to five years of nursing experience in long-term care or similar settings.Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and transfer residents safely.Manual dexterity and proper documentation skills.Visual acuity and capacity to manage diverse activities.
