Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care

About the Role

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a long-term care setting, developing care plans, delivering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support, and coordinating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Review physician prescriptions, communicate care plans, and collaborate with healthcare providers.
• Develop and evaluate nursing care plans based on patient assessments, histories, and social factors.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
• Manage resident care equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness and proper maintenance.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, and supervise nursing staff workflow.
• Uphold compliance with legal, safety, and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• Effective communication skills.
• Visual acuity and ability to work collaboratively.
• Preferred: 1-3 years in clinical or long-term care.
