About the Role

This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to residents by developing individualized care plans, conducting assessments, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. The nurse reviews physician prescriptions, communicates with the healthcare team, and coordinates resident care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers. They educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care skills, ensuring understanding and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate nursing care plans based on assessments and resident needs
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and communicate care plans
  • Provide education to residents and families on health management
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked care environment
  • Supervise nursing staff workflow and ensure quality standards
  • Adhere to safety, legal, and organizational policies
  • Manage care equipment and monitor supplies

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions, including effective communication and visual acuity
