Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized long-term acute care for critically ill patients, delivering compassionate inpatient post-ICU services in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and transfers, conduct systematic patient assessments, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Interpret diagnostic data, process medical orders, and respond effectively to rapid response and code events.
- Educate and counsel patients and families, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN license and BLS certification; ACLS required within 6 months.
- PREFERRED: Clinical experience in acute or critical care settings.
