Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Long Term Acute Care in a critical illness recovery hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care
- Ensure adherence to operative and documentation standards
- Assist with procedures such as central line care, wound care, IV insertions, and patient teaching
- Participate in quality improvement and infection control committees
- Manage supplies and equipment
- Monitor medication and emergency procedures
- Maintain detailed logs and records
- Focus on patient-centered care, safety, and compliance with policies
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS prior to orientation completion
Skills
- Preferred experience with PICC lines
- Preferred experience with operative procedures
- Preferred experience with monitors
- Preferred experience with sedation
- Preferred experience with wound care
- Preferred experience with rhythm analysis
- Demonstrate understanding of patient needs
- Problem-solving skills
