About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum, providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care for patients, coordinating care based on the nursing process.
- Supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety standards, risk management, QI, and infection control.
- Support emergency response protocols, including HICS responsibilities and hospital emergency codes.
- Maintain clinical competency and resource management at the unit level.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Current licensure or certification
- CPR certification
- Preferred: bachelor's or master's degree in nursing
Additional Duties
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high standards of care
- Supervise delegated tasks
- Fulfill related responsibilities to promote patient safety and quality outcomes
