Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery - Per Diem (experience required)

About the role

The Birth Place Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including care associated with in-unit Cesarean deliveries and gynecological procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and implement nursing care plans that address the individual needs of mothers and infants
• Establish patient-centered goals and evaluate outcomes to support safe, high-quality care
• Integrate patient values, evidence-based practice, and clinical expertise into care delivery
• Engage patients and families as active partners in the care process
• Function competently within the RN scope of practice while maintaining professional standards
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Utilize communication strategies appropriate to the needs of patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
