About the role
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery role in a well-supported Birthing Center.
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality maternal and newborn care
- Managing labor, antepartum, postpartum, and GYN surgical patients
- Supporting a collaborative team following AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Maintaining patient safety
- Utilizing OBIX EFM system
- Managing neonatal respiratory support
- Ensuring adherence to staffing ratios
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- At least 1 year of OB or L&D experience (2 years preferred)
- Ability to independently manage labor patients
Skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems
- Strong teamwork
- Ability to handle diverse patient populations
Pay
- $20,000 sign-on bonus
- Competitive hourly pay
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday
