About the role

Our Skilled Nursing team delivers specialized care to patients across orthopedics, cardiac care, respiratory health, oncology, palliative care, infectious diseases, neurology, and dermatology. You’ll have the autonomy to evaluate patient needs and administer care as you see fit, leveraging cutting-edge technology and being an integral part of a robust interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues.
• Ensure the completion of requested reports (e.g., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors. Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving through kind words and encouragement.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (or higher).
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to complex problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.

Pay

• Starting wages: Up to $40.55 - $44.40 per hour
• Base wages: $35.15 - $39.00 hourly (based on years of certification)
• $3.40 per hour hero pay
• $1.50 - $2.00 shift premiums for 2nd shift
• Yearly wage increases
