Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and compassionate infusion therapy by administering IV medications and therapies, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Cook up clinical and administrative operations, including scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews while maintaining effective communication with providers and care teams.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, assess understanding, and document teaching efforts.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance in electronic health records and medication administration logs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing.
- Minimum of two years RN experience required.
- One-year acute care experience preferred.
- BSN required.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
- PREFERRED CERTIFICATION: Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI).
Compliance / Notes
- A flu shot is required, no exceptions.
- Travelers will start on Wednesdays; orientation week for travelers on a 48-hour contract will guarantee only 36 hours due to midweek start.
