Registered Nurse (RN)/ Interventional Radiology

About the role

The clinical nurse (CN) in the Interventional Radiology department at Miami Valley Hospital functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrate appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles.
• Coincide/direct care delivered by the interdisciplinary team.
• Accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
• Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of current emergency/critical care hospital RN experience is required. Previous IR experience preferred.

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
