Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care - Cardiology

Role: Registered Nurse providing high-quality patient care within a collaborative care team. Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor patient conditions; assist with care plans; deliver safe, effective care adhering to policies; document assessments and interventions. Serve as a patient advocate by addressing concerns, educating patients and families, and ensuring patient-centered care to enhance satisfaction. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas for process enhancements, and support organizational goals. Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations. Foster growth of colleagues via mentorship and leadership. Qualifications: Nursing degree (Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s preferred). Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact). Certifications in BLS and ACLS required upon hire. Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to professional development. Ability to prioritize and coordinate patient care effectively. Other duties include adhering to safety, confidentiality, and professional standards, and supporting shared governance and organizational policies.
