Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

About the Role

Provide specialized, high-level care for patients with complex, life-threatening conditions in an Intensive Care Unit. Manage and deliver patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, within the scope of the New York State Nurse Practice Act. Act as a team leader, delegate responsibilities, and ensure patient outcomes through ongoing assessments and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Support professional development through mentorship and education programs.
• Maintain competency in nursing practices and respond effectively to patient emergencies.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in New York.
• Preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (must be completed within 5 years if not already obtained).
