Registered Nurse – Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN)

About the role

Provides direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitors patients' vital signs and reports changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assists with invasive procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required.
• CERT-NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with ICP monitoring, ECMO, and dialysis is preferred.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
