Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehab (PRN)
About the Role
The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN coordinates and directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team, provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support, and directly or indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients, families, and significant others.
The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN is responsible for knowledge and implementation of the mission, vision, and values of Atrium Medical Center.
Schedule
PRN (as needed), 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR certification
- Current hospital experience (within the past 5 years)
- Preferred: Minimum of one year’s experience in pertinent clinical specialty
Skills
- Willingness to work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations
- Ability to work independently as well as function as a team member and charge nurse as assigned
- Capable of adapting to a changing environment
- Practice consistent with Ohio Board of Nursing standards and regulations
