Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse PRN

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients
• Assist patients with exercise and proper skin care to prevent skin breakdown and ensure proper positioning
• Coordinate with the rehab therapy team for acute medical management to improve functional skills
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plan

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year applicable experience
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
