About the role
The Registered Nurse I provides patient-centered clinical care in the Inpatient Dialysis unit, performing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and documenting treatments to meet patient needs, with a focus on providing high-quality care and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Communicates with the interdisciplinary team
- Revises care plans based on evaluations
- Ensures compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards
- Completes clinical research forms
- Maintains professional development through mandated continuing education and certifications
Requirements
- Continual movement, patient handling, and working in environments with exposure to bodily fluids and chemicals, requiring physical stamina and sensory acuity
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- RN license in New York State
- BLS certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: at least 6 months of RN experience

Pay
