Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in dialysis, responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for dialysis patients. Responsibilities: Perform clinical duties under supervision, collect and analyze patient data, adjust treatment plans, provide patient and family education, ensure safe care during dialysis procedures, administer medications and transfusions, respond to emergencies, and coordinate communication with healthcare teams. Serve as a leader and mentor, support quality improvement activities, and may assist in outpatient settings or train new staff. Qualifications: Valid state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, minimum 2 years nephrology nursing experience, dialysis experience preferred, and specific physical and environmental demands including heavy lifting and exposure to health risks. Supervision of staff may be provided after successful completion of training and required experience. Skills: Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, leadership, and adherence to policies and regulations. Ability to perform in a dynamic healthcare environment and participate in on-call rotations.
