Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health Therapy
Where You Will Work
Adults with a wide range of diagnoses, including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions. Teamwork environment with a high emphasis on building therapeutic relationships with patients. Highly desired skills include communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement, and collaboration.
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Medication administration
- Care documentation
- Interdisciplinary team treatment planning
- 1 to 1 patient communication
- Advocating for patient needs
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
- CPI de-escalation certification preferred
