Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion - Levine Cancer Ambulatory Oncology Clinic Forest City

Full-time position located at Atrium Health Levine Cancer – Rutherford Clinic in Forest City, NC. Hours are 40 per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

About the Role

As a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) in our oncology and infusion center, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. This includes delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and compassionate communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

This role is part of the Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte, which provides care across over 600 locations in a variety of settings, including oncology, infusion, primary care, and specialty services.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to patient care.
• Continuously evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for patient needs and uphold professional practice standards.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Oncology infusion experience preferred.
