About the role

This position is sign-on bonus eligible, based on eligibility. You will work at Atrium Health Infusion Center, a specialized outpatient care center dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality infusion therapies to patients undergoing cancer treatment as well as those dealing with hematologic disorders. Designed with patient comfort, safety, and clinical excellence in mind, the clinic serves as a vital extension of comprehensive hematology and oncology care.

Across our 14-county region, we provide comprehensive care in over 600 locations in an array of settings including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Infusion, Cardiology, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Virtual Care, and various other medical specialties. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Oncology experience preferred

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
