About the Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized section of our hospital that provides comprehensive and continuous care for persons who are critically ill and can benefit from treatment. Montrose Regional Health's ICU has the tools and medical professionals to manage critical care patients and assist them in their greatest time of need, combining the latest in healthcare technology with a highly qualified and trained staff.
About the Role
The Registered Nurse coordinates the plan of care, provides direct age-appropriate nursing interventions and patient education, by collaborating with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel. Directs the team of CNA's, LPN's and Ward Secretaries. Works under the supervision of the nurse manager and/or house supervisor.
Requirements
- Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma in Nursing.
- BLS required upon hire.
- ACLS and PALS within 9-months.
- ENPC and TNCC highly recommended.
