Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Float Pool
Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center’s Internal ICU Float Pool is a dynamic, highly skilled team supporting intensive care units within the hospital. Our Internal ICU Float RNs bring versatility, clinical strength, and teamwork to every shift, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care across multiple critical care areas within a single facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care across multiple intensive care units within the hospital.
- Adapt to various critical care environments and patient needs.
- Commit to ongoing learning and teamwork to support dynamic ICU settings.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum 18 months of ICU RN experience (2 years strongly preferred).
- Flexibility and ability to meet scheduling expectations per 6-week period, including self-scheduling and 1 weekend (Sat-Sun shifts).
