Registered Nurse (RN) ICU -Fair Oaks Hospital

About the role

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time Day Shift position (3 x 12-hour shifts/week) 7:00am-7:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients requiring more intensive nursing care, including those with end-stage disease processes, sepsis, post-partum emergencies, respiratory failure, post-operative care, and others.
• Provide care for patients requiring CRRT and induced hypothermia for post-cardiac arrest.
• Work in a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Fair Oaks Hospital (IFOH), which is renowned for its quality and service and is a Magnet organization and recipient of the Senate Quality Award.
• Part of a community hospital serving the rapidly growing suburbs of Northern Virginia, known for providing safe care, excellent service, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of ICU Registered Nurse experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. If an Associate Degree (ADN) is held, completion of a BSN within 5 years of start date is required.
• RN license, or eligibility to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association, with ACLS preferred or within 90 days.
