About the role
Join the Intensive Care Unit at Lincoln Hospital as a full-time, 36-hour day shift Charge Nurse and become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing outstanding care for patients with complex and critical medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide both clinical leadership and direct patient care while partnering with providers, nursing colleagues, respiratory therapists, care management, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate daily unit operations, support patient flow, serve as a clinical resource for staff, mentor team members, and help foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and clinical excellence.
- Oversee daily staffing assignments, assist with complex patient care, respond to rapidly changing patient conditions, facilitate communication among the care team, and help ensure evidence-based practices and quality initiatives are consistently achieved.
- Combine advanced critical care nursing skills with leadership responsibilities in a supportive community hospital environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- ICU, SCU, ED and PACU RN’s require ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines.
- OB, NICU RN’s require NRP Certification within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines.
- Three years of relevant experience preferred.
- Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.

Pay
The base range is $40.06 to $54.20 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
