Registered Nurse (RN) - House Supervisor

About the role

Full-Time Day Shift position responsible for overseeing patient flow, managing conflicts, and ensuring smooth operations across departments, including emergency, inpatient, and discharge processes. Acts as a leader during night shifts and weekends, handling critical situations, responding to codes, and conducting audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient movement and department flow
• Handle conflict resolution and service recovery
• Respond to emergencies and codes
• Lead staff during challenging situations
• Perform audits and ensure compliance

Qualifications & Skills

• Current unencumbered RN license in Iowa or a Compact State
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and PALS (preferred)
• Leadership and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Five years of RN experience
• Three or more years as a Charge RN
