Registered Nurse - RN (Hospital Services) Essex Acutes

About the role

This position supports Clara Maass Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, providing nephrology care through hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and apheresis. It involves delivering care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, overseeing patient observations, and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
• Work in various settings including ICU, CCU, ED, and Med Surg.
• Provide specialty nephrology care, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs.
• Work with a team of clinicians to support and rely on each other in a positive environment.
• Work in a hospital setting, delivering dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system.
• Be part of a dynamic environment, providing lifesaving care during regularly scheduled and on-call shifts.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• A.D.N., B.S.N., or three-year diploma from an accredited nursing school.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg preferred.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $43.00 - $60.00/hour. Specific compensation will depend on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
