Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice, Waldo County

Join our hospice team serving Maine's communities in Waldo County out of Rockport and make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families during one of life's most important journeys.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Manage symptoms and administer treatments
- Provide patient and family education
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, home health aides, chaplains, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver compassionate, individualized care
- Build trusted relationships with patients and families throughout their hospice journey
Requirements

Qualifications
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
- Valid Driver’s License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required
- One year of recent RN experience required

Benefits
This is an exempt, salaried role. For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

This is a full time, 40 hours per week, Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.
