Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a hospice plan of care that meets each patient’s specific needs
• Utilizes physician orders and professional skills
• Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Hannibal Regional’s policy and procedures
• Absorbs and responds to the needs of patients and families in varied settings
• Directs the work of self and others
• Copes with family emotional stress and tolerates individual lifestyles
• Exercises sound judgment
• Travels as required; provides own reliable transportation
• Has a clean driving record

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
• Current license as a registered professional nurse in the State of Missouri
• Minimum of two years varied work experience as a professional nurse, preferably one year in an acute setting
