Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health Med Surg

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health Med Surg Supervisor to lead our Private Duty Nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct case conferences, document outcomes, and ensure staff competency through training, orientation, and evaluation.
• Monitor and record patients' conditions in home settings using electronic charting.
• Perform administrative duties and in‑home clinical/supervisory visits as needed.
• Supervise private duty caregivers and CNAs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and training of new staff.
• Maintain documentation of staff development, counseling, and performance evaluations.
• Serve as a resource to the healthcare team and liaise with community health resources.
• Engage in ongoing education, quality assessments, and staff meetings.
• Travel within a designated radius to support field staff and clients.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license required.
• Preferred 3+ years of professional nursing experience.
• Supervisor experience is a plus.
• Strong judgment, communication, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.
• Positive, professional attitude.
