Responsibilities
- Provides direct nursing care and case management for homecare patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Delegates to and supervises home care aides as required by Iowa and Illinois Nursing Schedule
Requirements
- Supervisory Responsibility: Direction: The job requires some accountability for scheduling, assigning or coordinating
- Materials Responsibility: Limited: Work requires limited responsibility for material resources.
- Key Relationships: Co-workers/Health System Employees, Outside Agencies/Other Health Care Providers, General Public/Visitors/Volunteers, Physicians/Medical Office Staff, Students/Interns/Residents/Outside Instructors, Patients, Families, and Significant Others, Vendors/Clients, Third Party Payors/Insurance Companies
Education
- Education: Associate's Degree
- Field OF Study: Nursing
Special Training
- Basic Life Support
Preferred
- Baccalaureate in Nursing
Licenses/Registrations
- Registered Nurse in Iowa & Illinois
- Valid Driver's License
- Auto Insurance-Genesis minimum limits required.
Experience
- More than 2 years experience required.
