Registered Nurse (RN) - General Intensive Care Unit

About the role

The Registered Nursing (RN) position is responsible for providing competent nursing care as per the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN must possess clinical knowledge and skills relevant to specific clinical areas such as emergency, intermediate care, intensive care, or medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Diagnose and implement interventions based on patient needs
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Teach patients and families about their health conditions and treatments
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies

Requirements

• Current Registered Nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency, intermediate care, intensive care, or medical-surgical settings

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred

Pay

Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. Details provided by the recruiter.

Schedule

36 hours per week, rotating shifts including nights.
