Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time On-Call Community Hospice

Responsibilities

  • Provide after-hours nursing visits to hospice patients in home and facility settings
  • Assess and manage symptoms, addressing urgent patient and family needs
  • Provide education, guidance, and emotional support to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate closely with the hospice care team to ensure continuity of care and promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life

Requirements

  • Valid NYS RN license required
  • 1-2 years previous RN experience required, homecare and/or Hospice experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to learn/use an electronic medical record
  • Clean Driver's License and reliable vehicle

Schedule

Full-time evening or overnight shifts. Every other weekend commitment required.

Pay

Pay Range for non-per diem: $38.00-$50.18
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
