Registered Nurse (RN) | Full Time | Nights - Ortho/Neuro
Job Description
The Registered Nurse at Singing River Health System is responsible for providing patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. The position requires a graduate degree from an NLN school of nursing, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi, and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and TNCC depending on the specialty area.
- Minimum of one (1) year of inpatient clinical experience, preferred within the past five (5) years.
- Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days).
- Must have appropriate level of de-escalation training.
Qualifications
Must be able to work schedules assigned with the understanding that changes may be instituted according to the needs of the hospital for off days, shifts or weekends. Must demonstrate keen mental faculties/assessment and decision-making abilities, superior communication skills, and emotional stability conducive to dealing with high stress levels.
