Registered Nurse (RN) | Full Time | Nights - Emergency Room

Job Description

The Registered Nurse at Singing River Health System is responsible for providing patient care utilizing the Nursing Process. They must hold a current unrestricted Mississippi State license as a Registered Nurse and have completed and maintained BCLS certification upon hire. Additional certifications are required for certain specialties, with specific timelines for acquisition. The role also requires de-escalation training and a minimum of one year of inpatient clinical experience, preferably within the last five years.

Qualifications

• Current Mississippi State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BCLS Certification upon hire
• Appropriate certifications for specific specialties (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC)
• De-escalation training completed by 90 days
• One year of inpatient clinical experience, preferred

• Physical Demands: Moderate activity, sitting, moving around the office and facility, traveling within SRHS service area
• Mental Demands: Keen mental faculties, assessment and decision-making abilities, superior communication skills, emotional stability, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, multi-tasking, customer service skills, proficiency in computer and office technology
